This business fraudulently claims to "donate a portion of each sale to City Kitties, a no-kill rescue group here in Philadelphia."  This is false.  City Kitties has never received a donation from Pussycat Shoes or the owner, Lauren Goldsmith.

Ms. Goldsmith has not responded to requests to remove all mention of our organization from her website and publicity materials.  City Kitties representatives have tried to contact Ms. Goldsmith by phone and email numerous times since June 2010.  We sent a cease and desist letter via certified mail on August 6, 2010, which was never picked up from the post office.  We have not received a response from Ms. Goldsmith as of today, nearly three months since our first attempt to contact her.

Again, our organization has NO AFFILIATION whatsoever with Pussycat Shoes, has never received a donation from this business or its owner, and Ms. Goldsmith does not have permission to use City Kitties' name or link to our website.

Since we have no relationship with Pussycat Shoes and receives no donations from them, City Kitties is unable to assist consumers in getting their money back (and yes, we have heard from several upset consumers).  If you have a complaint or concern about Pussycat Shoes, we encourage you to contact the Better Business Bureau and/or file a consumer complaint with your state Attorney General's office.
