1.  In the summer of 2010 we used an ENT known by Dr John Cher for a reason unrelated to this story.
While in the room, I complained about my breathing. So the Dr. promised me that he can operate on my nose and he is to bill my insurance without costing me a dime. (Basically he agreed to forfeit my 20% PPO portion after billing the insurance).

2.  There was no mention to an anesthesiologist bill or any agreement (verbal or written). The operation was done in November of 2010 AFTER I PAID A $1,000 and the rest (80% of the bill) was  to be billed to my insurance

3.  Few weeks later I was notified by the insurance that the claim was denied for reasons:
(Multi billing by different doctors and duplicate billing with additional services and billing added to the invoice).

So basically the original Dr billed my insurance $6000 after I paid a $1,000 and then an $8,000 was billed as a second bill, then a $3,000 was billed by the above mentioned anesthesiologist.

4.  We called the original surgeon's office and spoke with his office manager on 8 different occasions We informed them in writing of the error and asked them to straighten the billing We were  promised that there will be one claim.  She also assured us that she will mail me a newer copy of a final claim showing the insurance denial in which we can appeal
or file grievance with the insurance company.

None of this took place and after many weeks went by, I get an additional bill from the above mentioned anesthesiologist demanding we pay the 3rd invoice of $3,000 the insurance denied based on multi and over billing without having the ability to sort things out or file an appeal with the insurance.

Due to the excessive billing and discrepancies by Dr Cher's office (Parkside Surgery) and Dr Kamran Broukhim's office we were unable to file grievance with our insurance company.  We were attempting to do so again, however, we have yet to receive a final invoice from Dr Chers confirming the original claim sent to the insurance of $6,000.

In Conclusion, I was reported to Experian by Dr Kamran Broukhim's company PYS MGMT GROUP PARTNERS LLC

I tried to dispute the negative info reported with Experian, but Dr Broukhim's company PYS MGMT GROUP PARTNERS LLC responded by submitting a patient's application info sheet claiming it as an agreement.

I am planning to sue this Doctor in Small Claims court up to the maximum amount of $7,500 for attempting to damage my credit report without any hard evidence of debt validity. I am also planning on filing a law suit against Experian for refusing to accept my proof vs the merchant.

PS  Dr Broukhim has an ownership at a Spa / Laser clinic facility in Westwood called Prive which has negative comments and bad reviews as well.

I hate to sound racist.  But I would never do business with Carpet merchants called Persians in West LA.
