Qlink Wireless government cell phone program Qualified for the Government Free Cell phone program and received a defective phone. Dania Beach Florida
After uploading numerous documents and forms of ID's, they finally approved me to receive a free phone and service.
I received the cell phone and read the instructions to a 'T'. I used to work in the Cellular phone field before retiring a
few years ago. I already knew how to charge a new phone when you receive it, even tho I received nothing in the
way of instructions to do this. After a full charge for the first time, (approximately 8 hours), I powered the phone up.
I attempted to set the phone up through settings with the routine adding accounts and etc... This took a very long time
as the phone was far too slow to perform. Then, I noticed the battery was 3 - 5% and it died. I charge it all night long and
the next day, it comes on for a couple minutes and dies.. The battery is completely shot, unuseable.
Even if I had a new battery, the phone performs too slow to be useable anyway. After numerous attempts, I contacted QLink Wireless and explained the problems I was having and I was told to buy a new battrery or a new phone.
I realized I had been scammed. So, I just put it away. I have been scammed so many times, I just throw the item in a
drawer and move on. So tired of companies like this. It seems our entire nation has become the scam capital of the world.
Is this what I served in the service and becamed disabled for, a nation of scams?
Sincerely,
MK
