QRS Quality Relocation Services Worst Moving Company Ever..Owner Should be in Jail commerce city Colorado
Unfortunately my wife hired american discount movers out of fort lauderdale florida to move her 100 year old grandmother from topeka kansas to Florida. Upon paying the 500 dollar fee we were assigned Quality Relocation Services or QRS out of Colorado, and thats where the nightmare begins.
We let QRS know that we were moving our grandmother into an assisted living facility in florida and that we needed to have the goods delivered in the next ten days. They assured us it wouldnt be a problem even though their contract states that they have a month or so to make delivery without a penalty. Stating the obvious, we moved her in to her new home and several days before doing so, we contacted Qrs to see where her goods were..Never got a call back for days, and when we finally did from a guy named sy or shy he was rude, abusive, and not forthcoming about the whereabouts of our goods. We even had to block our caller id as he would never answer the phone once he knew who it was, but funny enough when it was blocked he answered it immediately.
Six weeks later, excuse, after excuse(truck broke down, awaiting parts, weather, traffic, you name it), the truck finally arrived. The driver dropped off 8 of 25 boxes and then took off while my wife was helping her grandmother. When she tried to call the driver to ask where the other boxes were, the driver told her that was all he had and that we could call the main office. We called sy or shy and basically he told us "tough luck, claim my insurance, good luck"..We filed a police report and are working with the police to get our goods back, even though i know that will probably never happen.
Stay away from this company at all costs, they are nothing more than common thiefs who pray on the unsuspecting. Many of the stolen goods arefamily heirlooms, irreplaceable. Their contract they make you sign protect them from everything so do yourself a favor, find another mover..These people really should be in jail, and maybe one day with luck this will happen. and as for you sy or shy, i hope you feel proud about scamming a 100 year old woman.
