Complaint Review: QSI (Quality Subscriptions

Just like many of the others in other states: He was clean cut, very polite and also told me he lived in one of the cul-de-sacs down the street. I asked him which one and he told my husband and I that we "probably see my Mom outside jogging with our golden retrievers all the time. She loves those dogs" Also he said, unlike many of the others, he was simply selling "services" and would do two hours of labor for a donation. So we have not signed any paperwork and have no magazines on order. But we still wrote out the check for services- never again!

After writing a check for $96 (2 hours worth of time), he asked us not to write anything in the memo section - "If you write in the memo section it disqualifies me." Of course the next day he never showed up- we feel like such suckers- but we always help the kids in the neighborhood- never again! I've issued the stop payment, notified all of our neighbors and the local police department. Of course, I wish I had done a search before writing the check-When I googled Quality Subscriptions and found this rip off site with a similar story. I wanted to respond as well.
