Qspace.com, CIC Credit Monitoring, Consumerinfo.com, Subsidiary Of Experian rip-off! Texas
I was unjustifially charged $79.95 to my debit card for credit monitoring services that I did not request or recieve. I gave no authorization to charge my account and didn't visit their web site. I noticed that this happened to several other people and it seems they are now doing business as Qspace.com and consumerinfo.com. Also, it seems that consumerinfo.com is a subsidiary of Experian.
I called there 800-number and was forced to wait a long time after dialing the option for billing questions. During the wait I was subjected to several commercials for their service. Then when I spoke to a representative, they tried to sell me the service, and wouldn't take no for an answer.
After 15 minutes they finally agreed to refund the money. I believe their scam is to debit your account and then if you call and complain they try to convince you to try the service for 30-days. Hopefully, I will get my money back.
