Basically I live in Las Vegas, it's hot and my a/c kept shutting off.  If you turned the breakers off and on via the switch on the unit located on the roof, you could get it running again, but obviously you shouldnt have to do that.  So I call my homewarranty, they get QUALITY AIR to my house the guy named Sam hardly checks anything goes up to the unit and says "oh, you need a compressor".  The compressor turned out to be over $2300, half of it my warranty covered and half I had to pay, no big deal.  But after this compressor was installed, it still didnt work.

Another tech, named Rich (awesome, honest, smart, kid)  came over and the first thing he did was play with the thermostat and put new batteries in it.  Then it magically started working!!!!  Yea I feel like an idiot for not checking that first, I could have been mad at myself for paying someone $50 (trade call fee) to tell me I needed to change my batteries, but $2300 for two AAA batteries, really???  If that's not a rip off, I don't know what is.  I look forward to partnering with News 13 here in las vegas and putting them on blast so people can see what kind of work they do if they don't make a smart decision and refund me. :)  Here we gooooo.
