DO NOT buy from this lot!! They sold me a truck straight from the auction w a bad computer/security issue and refused to help me fix it. I didn't even get to put hard tags on it. I GAVE it back bc I was paying for a car I couldn't drive and now they are trying to garnish my wages for 10,000. To make it worse, I personally know the sales mgr (not his fault) and the owner knows I have 5 kids and is still doing this. BUYER BEWARE

What does having FIVE CHILDREN have to do with this other than YOU attempting to come up with some sort of SYMPATHY CARD??? Oh, by the way, why didn't your husband go with you for this transaction? Oh wait....five kids...yes, I think we all know the answer! Apparently you didn't even bother to READ your paperwork.
You make no mention of a warranty, because you probably bought this thing AS IS. If YOU would have READ the paperwork, YOU would have known this was an AS IS purchase, and you are not ENTITLED to free warranty service! To keep up your record of highly intelligent actions, you cause a VOLUNTARY REPO. Yes sir...boy am I ever, ever impressed!!!

- This is the only two thing you got right. You know the Sales Manager and it isn't his fault. This is your fault for buying a car "As-Is" without having it fully inspected. Did you even test drive the vehicle before you bought it?
But if you think the Sales Manager didn't know what was going on, you are truly dilusional. He knew it came from an Auction and regardless of what BS he was trying to tell you Auction cars are generally in bad condition. Now, to their defense, they also don't go looking for problems, but that is also a reason that they sell cars "As-Is". Let me guess when you went to him after the fact and he was "totally shocked"..right? He probably even "tried" to help you, only saying that the owner's wouldn't do anything.
Now you didn't give the car back, you did a Voluntary Reposesion. A Voluntary Repo is no different than if they came and got it. Having posession of the car or not, you are still responsible for the loan. Once they sell the car at another Auction, you are still responsible for the balance of the loan. Your only chance here may be the garnishment. You can only be garnished if you are sued and they get a judgement against you. If you didn't know about the suit there is a chance you were not properly served. You would have to find the suit at the local court, which in the curren situation may be difficult. If this is truly for 10,000 I would seriously consider consulting an attorney. A couple hundred dollars for an hour may be worth it.
