Complaint Review: Quality Custom Cabinets and Trim LLC

Mr. John Haymons is the owner of Quality Custom Cabinets and Trim, LLC in Pace, Florida and received nearly $7,000, but only completed half of the kitchen cabinets we paid him to build and install.  John Haymons made excuse after excuse over a 10+ month period for why he could not work on my cabinets.

In June 2018, after relocating with the military to Niceville, FL, I initiated a contract to have Quality Custom Cabinets and Trim design, build, and install new kitchen cabinets as we remodeled our newly purchased, yet older "fixer-upper" home. Since June 2018, we paid John Haymons and Quality Custom Cabinets and Trim a total of $6,920.

Despite our willingness to pay in full, John Haymons left the contracted work half completed and our kitchen in a state of disrepair due to the cheaply built cabinets and damage done to our walls and baseboards. Additionally, John Haymons stopped communicating with my wife and me altogether in March 2019.

Preceding the abrupt cessation of John's texts, emails, and phone calls, John Haymons made months worth of excuses for why he could not complete the work or why he was unable to come to our home. We are now left with a half-complete, cheaply and poorly built kitchen, and out nearly $7,000. To make matters worse, John is refusing to even give us the cabinet doors he has already built. Furthermore, John made a number of irreparable mistakes while building the cabinets that we are now stuck with, and he damaged walls, floors, and molding during the partial cabinet install.

At this point, John Haymons has proven himself to have no integrity and Quality Custom Cabinets and Trim is a company that does very poor work. I highly recommend avoiding John Haymons and Quality Custom Cabinets and Trim, LLC!
