I work in the hotel industry and would like to offer a little insight.

1st when you noticed the "suspected" drug use you called the front desk, she stated she would call and notify the people in the room.

Well if it was a female what do you expect her to do, go down to the room all by herself and confront some drug users? If you were so sure they were using drugs why didnt you call the police? The desk clerk couldnt call the police without knowing full well they were doing drugs. How would she know this? How did she know you werent pulling a prank hoping she would call the police, and the police show up and you are laughing in the next room. Think before making such wide assumptions.

If you were so worried about it you could have easily picked up the phone and called the police yourself. They probably wouldnt have even showed up as you stated you smelled "drugs" in your room that "could" have been coming from another room. Heck I have seen incense that mimics the smell of marijuana and police are not going to respond to a call about a smell.
