On May 20th, 2011 Quality Move Company was scheduled to arrive at my home at 8 a.m., they arrived at 9:30 a.m. to begin the move.  They completed the move by 5 p.m. and when they left my wife went upstairs to check on her diamond engagement ring that she thought was secured, hidden and put away before the movers got to our new home.  She removed the ring because she was cleaning in the morning and didn't want to lose it or damage it.  When the movers left she went upstairs to get the ring and it was gone.  We searched the entire house before calling the police.  The police arrived, we filed a report and they made several attempts to get the movers employees and the owner to take a polygraph test, but the moving company refused to take the test.  I offered to pay for the employees days pay if they all passed the test but they still refused.  Quality Move will not take my calls nor have the ever returned our calls nor the police calls.  The police told us they could not make them take the polygraph test nor get them to come out for an interrogation in our town.  The Kane County Deputy told us that we need to file a report with our insurance company, so I inquired and it turns out that the insurance company will only cover for up to $500.  The ring is a 3.5 carat yellow heart shaped diamond surrounded by bagets and is worth over $10,000.  I purchased this ring in Thailand 10.5 years ago and it is a very rare ring.
