Quality Move Co. offered me the lowest estimate out of three (3) even though their weight estimate was the highest.  At pickup I was informed that the cost would be an additional $500 or so based on charges for wrapping a few items and having "more volume" than was originally estimated.  Pickup was two (2) hours later than the promised window.

The sales person had told me that delivery would almost certainly be within 7 to 9 days.  When I inquired after 10 days, I was rudely told to read my contract, that up to 21 business days was permitted under the contract, regardless of anything I had previously been told.

I had also been told by their office that only the driver could let me know when delivery would occur and that I would have 24 to 48 hrs. notice.  The driver finally called at 3:00 P.M. on a Friday and said they wanted to deliver since they were "in the area."  I had made plans and had to put them off until the following day.  Delivery was supposed to be "early A.M." on Saturday; it started at about 4 P.M. instead (to give the full 24 hrs. notice?).

My step ladder is missing, along with most of my cutlery and some historical paperwork.  Some furniture was turned upside down, scratching and breaking in the process.
