My experience is very similar to the other rip-off report for Quality Roman Shades on this site. I placed a custom order in May with a lead time of 4-6 weeks. First let me say all communication is through email. There is a phone number that I have called a gazillion times, that always dumps you to voicemail. Your calls will never be returned. I started to inquire about my order in week 8, and then every few days after. Every response was a delay and a lie. The status went from pending, to awaiting shipment to shipped. Once the staus was changed to shipped I started to inquire about a tracking number. I did not want my custom blind to be "lost in the mail". After three requests for the tracking information , I threatened to contact BBB and Visa customer service. I received a quick response that said, and I quote "that is a good way to get your order cancelled". Unbelieveable. Not sure how you cancel an order that shipped 10 days ago, but that is the answer I got. Quality Roman Shades promptly changed my order status to cancelled and I promtly contacted BBB. I needed to file the complaint under the parent company Kona Interiors ( the other scam). They responded to my complaint stating that my refund had already been processed and I should expect to see my $96.50 in 7-9 business days. Today is the 12th business day. I (suprize, suprize) have yet to recieve my money. Ironically, I too have a small internet business and can not imagine that they could be an actual business and get away with treating customers this way, internet or not. I have done a bit of research and it looks like Eyes Wide Open (laughable), Kona Interiors and Quality Roman Shades are all owned by Angelique McClure and/or Mandy McClure in Tifton, GA. Although I also found some information in Florida. I assume that is how this cycle continues, one business fails, she just starts another! Incompetence at its finest.
