Quality Subscriptions Inc fraudulent door to door sales, charity fake magazine scam Buford Georgia
2 guys in their early 20s came to my door and claimed to be Berkeley students raising money for a team trip to Maui. They were smooth and I got suckered. After the left (with my check) I read the receipt which they claimed was my record for a charitable tax deduction. Well... the receipt explicitly stated that the company is NOT a non profit.... so i googled the company and it came up all over the internet as a scam. Also if you dial the number on the receipt the answering machine says the company is United Family Circulation, which has even more webhits as a scam.
