Complaint Review: Quality Used Engines

I purchased a used engine for my 1999 ford ranger that was supposed to be compression tested and steam cleaned with 68k when I recieved the engine it was damaged and one cylinder had only 20lb of compression which I paid $1,565.00 for this enigine. After several phone calls to Scott in the warranty dept and alot of complaining they fianally sent me a new engine he told me to have my mechanic send him the pictures and to let him know if the engine was put in and if it worked to start the warranty.

Long story short my mechanic sent them the pictures and their part of the bill which was close to 2,000 mind you I have now invested 3,500.00 in this motor. I get a phone call from my mechanic telling me that they haven't been paid yet. So I call Scott in warranty which he is the rudest person I have ever dealt which. Now he is telling me that they will not honor the warranty because it wasn't activated.

In which he told me on the phone when I told him it was in that all they had to do was send them the bill and it would be taken care of. They will not pay the bill so now I'm stuck with another $2,000.00 bill I would not recommend this company to any one they are rip offs and don't sell you what thier adds say. scam artist is what they are. Very upset customer.
