I bought an Infrared Sauna online at Quality Sauna Warehouse.com also known as SeaMax Enterprises. I had several problems the first day I set it up. The light fixture didn’t fit properly, because the ceiling area was too short. The therapy light was just decorations and not a true Red light therapy, and the sauna did not heat up to 130-140 degrees as the website listed. It would only heat up to 84 degrees. This Sauna is a Glorified Out-House and is a Fake.

I had several failed attempts to resolve my complaints with Mr. Chen President and National Accounts Manager that I wanted to return the sauna the week I opened the boxes. He insulted me stating that I was having a bad day and I was taking it out on him. And, that I should turn up the temperature on my furnace at home to accommodate his dysfunctional equipment that didn’t heat up properly.

I hired an Electrician to inspect the sauna and he said that it could not possible heat up very high, because there was only 1 heater and not 5, and because it had a 12 volt transformer in the heating unit. The Electrician said it was the same transformer he uses to recharge his cellphone.

I had the sauna picked up and packed by a shipping company here in my home town. After a few weeks the shipping company had to return the sauna to my garage, because they couldn’t get a response form SeaMax or a return address as well.

I turned to my bank, and they couldn’t get anywhere with Mr. Chen and after 10 month my bank gave up the fight and reversed the charges back to my checking account and stated that I need to find another avenue to resolve this return.

I wrote to the Michigan Attorney General’s office.  They sent SeaMax a letter and I received their reply, stating that they are willing to help me if I will just cooperate. All I am asking for is a return address to return this sauna and my money back.

The Michigan Attorney General’s office dumped me as well, and stated that if Mr. Chen is not going to cooperate and give me his return address they can’t help me, but they will keep my complaint and see if they receive any other complaints like mine.
