After spending a day with a "so called" manager in the field of marketing for LAF coastal promotions/ Quantum. I can tell you not to waste your time.

I have a college degree, and lots of experience, but the way they advertise this venture it appears to be legit at first. They spam every career website they possibly can.

After a preliminary interview in a dirty office (with 10-15 other applicants), they tell you that you will receive a call back within the hour to notify you of a secondary interview.

Upon arriving for a second interview, you are sent of with a mid-level manager, or in my case the actual manager to carry out a "promotion" for the D.A.R.E corporation. At this point they ask you to ride in their car with them to the location. However DO NOT get in their car. If so, you will be stuck with them, as they usually do their promotions within 30-45 mile radius from their home office. They tell you to ask as many questions as you would like, but however, when you ask anything they are not comfortable with they simply tell you to wait until lunch to ask that question.

Bascially they buy cheap products at wholesale with either the DARE logo or some other cheap give aways and sell them to customers under the guise of helping the community and child safety.

In reality, they only donate 10-20% of their profit from sales to the actual cause. I saw my "training manager", tell people with food stamps that if they couldn't afford the cash, we could gladly take credit cards.
Ripping off people on food stamps is about as low as you can get.

Once you finally escape from the promotion they take you to lunch (which you of course pay for), and they tell you the scheme behind their marketing strategy. You can make money from this company, but everything the company receives back from your sales, at the end of the day you may receive $150-300 a week for approximately 8-10 hour days 5 days a week.

This is essentially a large, and semi-legal pyramid scheme with quantum at the top and supposedly 56-75 branch offices located around the nation. Sure, you can make money, but only by using deception and under the false pretense of helping charities.

Don't waste your time.

As Of Last Year I graduated from high school i was looking for fulltime work but no one was really interested in giving me a chance to prove myself as a administrative assistant. I found This business in the newspaper and they were claiming they needed a full staff. Now when you call to schedule what they call an "interview" you are really setting yourself up to be a solicitator...you go door to door of businesses all over the map, basically selling JUNK!

I dont know quite where they get all of there inventory but i do know that everything is done secretive..a truck comes early in the morning and the solicitators are gone and out the building by 9 am with their cars LOADED with the items they are selling. Now i was "cute" enough to not have to do solicitation... stewart gave me the front desk and i was in charge of all the paper work, the guys name badges, the phones, EVERYTHING!!!

I had atleast 5 pages of people with their names, emails & phone numbers and they were to be called 2 times a day, once in the morning when i got in and then again throughout the day following my paperwork, now this was an everyday thing & i realized what was going on i wasnt working for any ordinary company.

THIS PLACE IS A FRAUD & SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!
They target mostly young people, because of the fact that we are so nieve', they will tell you there is "GREAT" money involved and blah blah blah its a bunch of bull, I was LET GO from this company for no reason, they claimed i just wasnt "working out" but little did i know, they knew my every move in that building and it was my mistake of getting caught snooping.
THIS BUSINESS IS NOT LOGICAL AND NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT THOROUGHLY!!!

ITS METRO - MSI NOW!!!! THEY CHANGE THE NAME TO KEEP GOING

Metro MSI:

My ex-Fiance' became employed with Metro MSI one year ago. She was promised a managers postion within 6 months of hire date. After 6 months came and went and no manager postion. She was then promised a managers position within 8 months. 8 Months came and went and still no manager position became available. Now it is comming up to one year and my fiance' puts in well over 80 hrs a week and brings home barely $350 a week on an avarage. We have had many, many arguements over this job and it eventually was the demise of our relationship. So many hours invested, while her manager recognizing that my fiance' was making alot of money for them. Management set goals for each individual, (Goals consist of making a certain amount of cash sales per day). when in actuality, its not the employees goal, but rather the manager who sets the goals in order to make money for management, leaving the one who labors broke...

It is a pyramid scam... You have to get a certain many employees to work under you for a certain period of time. This can also be seen in Amway type pyramid scams. It does not work because of the type of people the job attracts. Every now and then, Metro MSI gets a good person (like my ex-fiance') and this is how they make their money. Exploiting good intentions from good people in order to gain for themselves.

After my fiance' was employed with Metro-MSI, she had to ride with a manager to go from business to business trying to sell cheap junk that most dollar stores will never carry. While doing door to door, the managers car was broken into and my fiance' had her purse stolen... Metro-MSI didn't feel obligated to pay for this. I had to argue and fight to get only 50% back.

After approximately 8 months of being employed with Metro-MSI, my ex had to go with new applicants into the field to do sales. While she stopped to get gas, the two applicants went into her purse and stole all of her money, and the money that was collected from sales for the day. Metro-MSI made my ex, and I pay all of it back...

Please, do not be sucked in to this company... You will not progress forward in life. You can make way more money working at Mc Donalds with the hours they enforce at Metro-MSI. Metro-MSI pays commission only, so remember this when you try to sell somebody a piece of junk. They actually put you through alot of fake "positve self improvement" crap that actually blinds the employee into thinking this company cares about the employee, when in actuality all they care about is their own pockets getting fatter and fatter.

Ever seen requiem for a dream? Remember "JUICE BY SARA, JUICE BY SARA, GOOOOO SARA!!!!!" They actually say this and use "Juice" as some type of metaphore for positve affirmation... I think it is very cult like, and very scary that the woman I was with for 5 years was so easily manipulated into this crap....

Remember, if what they say is true, and thousands upon thousands of people who work for Metro-MSI are successful people, then don't you think everybody would be doing it?

CRAZY
