I received in my mail box congratulating me for being the beneficiary of a yearly donation of $500,000. (Five-Hundred Thousand U. S Dollars) from this charity for Disabled people. I am to reply with my name, address, phone no., etc., to a Mr. George Wallect, The Executive Secretary (e-mail address) @yahoo.com.hk.
This the third or fourth e-mail I have received from entities claiming that I have won or been selected to receive a large sum of money from the U.K. This the most well written one I have received with the language and spelling correct. It seems to be very official with numerous contact information.
The last one was from a Mr. George Norris. I replied that he should get a REAL JOB and GET-A-LIFE instead of trying to scam people on the internet. He had the nerve to e-mail me again asking for an official letter of decline so that he would not be in illegal trouble with HIS boss who had traveled to give him MY check and I refused to pay the FED EX fee to be forwarded to me.
About a week later, I received the e-mail from this Queen Elizabeth Foundation. Seems like the U.K. cannot take no for an answer and are determined to give me a lot of money. For a few hundred dollars shipping fee. OF COURSE.
I am afraid if I reply I will just receive more of these scam e-mails. They all come though my Yahoo.
Thank God for Rip-Off-Reports. I check EVERYTHING that is even mildly suspicious. I hope this helps someone.
