Some time in Dec of 2003 I finally started reading my telephone bill from Verizon. I wondered why each month it was so high. I thought it should average $40, it was hitting $60. When I went online to look at previous bills I started to notice another name on the bill for services I never authorized from a company called Quest Communications.

When I called Verizon, they informed me that Quest had attached their service to my bill and that I must have given them permission to be an internet provider. This is not true.

When I finaaly had been able to contact a Quest Communication representive, named Mary, she also told me that I had approved to have their service. I told her I had not, and I wanted a full refund. She was only able to give a refund as far back as June of 2003. I have since learned that it may have been longer then that and they need to keep their records for 18 months.

It now April of 2004 and I haven't since said refund of over $160.00 from either Quest Communications or Verizon.
