I bought magazines from Mos Magazines (which has ripoff reports also) but I have not had a bad situation with them (yet), but with my first payment, another $8.95 was put on my Credit Card.

It was from QuestSavers. I had never heard of them, so I called the bank and told them that it was a bogus charge. The lady from the bank told me that I should try to take care of the situation before I have the bank get involved.

So I called the number that she gave me (800-527-1656) and told the woman that answered that I did not ask for their services, I did not receive any information from them about what services they were charging for. She said "Well, we are a company that gives you discounts on travel and..." I cut her off and told her that I didn't travel and that I didn't want their service and I wanted my $8.95 back.

She said, "no problem, I will cancel your account and refund your money." At the end of the phone call, she offered another service that had a free trial period, and I said, "NO. Just cancel my account." Three days later, I had my money back.
If you have this problem, call them immediately and do what I did. If this doesn't work, threaten them.
