First I wish to state I have nothing to do with the company. That said, I think some of the criticism is based on some folks not reading all the material. The mistake is to call this an Internet auction site; it is a gambling site. Buyer beware! As such I believe it captures the imagination of folk who think they will win with a small outlay. This is how lottery tickets work. The first clue is the fact you buy bid tokens. So if you want a real auction, go to real auction sites.

One of the ones I like a lot is 'Bidding for Good' since the proceeds go to non-profit organizations. Now, on the negative side it has two major flaws for me. The first is the 'Buy Now' policy. Many items are over-priced and after fees and shipping you probably save nothing, especially these days where so many Internet stores offer free shipping. So do some preliminary research. The Kindle price comes close to matching Amazon.com but the iPad is way off! And there are real auctions offering the same stuff.

But the one I really hate is their 'Bid-o-Matic' process. If you are willing to pay a low of $50 and a high of $80 your range of bidding kicks in ONLY if the bidding process enters your range. This is indeed in my mind silly. So the whole idea of 'walking away' doesn't really apply if the bidding is slow and doesn't reach the range you projected. I have spent enough time on this site thank you. Once my tokens run out I am out of there completely.

I'm sorry you do not like the features on QuiBids.  We try to keep our site as fresh and interactive as possible for our customers.  It's impossible to please everyone, especially in this industry.  Online penny auctions are not for everyone and that's ok. QuiBids is simply a "pay to play" model, and one in where no one has to leave empty handed or pay more than the online retail value of the products we auction off. You can either use your bids or get a refund for the bids you did not use.  We refund any unused bids, so if you choose that route, just contact our support and they'll get it taken care of.

I really wanted to thank you for putting the effort into letting others know about this scam.. I knew it was too good to be true, but my boyfriend wanted to still check it out and give them our information!! So of course i told him to wait and let me check out the site and consumer reports, and was very satisified to find this site with everyones comments. IT'S BC OF THIS SITE AND ALL THE REVIEWS THAT WE WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH QUIBIDS. I truley thought that maby it would be awsome to buy from their site, but know I can save my money and get treated better when I buy from EBAY!!!! Once again THANK YOU FOR YOUR IMPUT!!!!!
