QuiBids Holdings LLC Failure to Refund $ 60.00 for unused Bids after (3) separate requests Internet
Sirs
Several weeks ago my wife and I learned about a company, i.e. (QuiBids) which offered an opportunity to purchase Goods and Services utilizing an Auction Type business model.
Retired and living on a fixed income we are always on the lookout for money saving value propositions. At first glance, Qui Bids appeared to be a viable alternative to purchasing certain items which could be later sold for a modest profit. We made a $60.00 investment to purchase 100 Bids @ $ .60/ea.
The money,($60.00) was withdrawn from our account and now sits in Hold @ Qui-Bids. Subsequent to this withdrawal my wife and I decided to not to pursue this Purchase/Auction format based on advice from Legal Counsel. Instead we requested a Full Refund of our $60.00 Bid purchase. We have made (3) requests for this Refund and to date not received anything except a "cyber-run-around".

How they got you...

Below is a screen shot of how they got you after you registered. I used a fake name (don johnson) to register and pull this screen up. Now notice first...the LEFT side of the screen shot. What does it say (or imply?)...let's review...
"STARTER ACCOUNT"....60 cents per bid. Now what is underneath that is very important...."100 bids included"
So what that says essentially....is that you did NOT purchase 100 bids at 60 cents each...but that you were charge 60 dollars for a starter account....oh and "by the way"....bids are 60 cents each and 100 bids are included. See how they are SCAMMING. This is why they responded here stating all "unused" bids can be cashed in. Because that charge is NOT unused bids..it is the fee for joining the scam. Now I challenge ANYONE...log onto the quibids.com and find that ANYWHERE in their terms and conditions before you resister. Not gonna happen, I tried.
Now next part of the sham scam flim flam. Read the RIGHT side of the screen shot....
"WHERE DO WE SEND YOUR WINNINGS"....So of course many are going to be SUCKERED into thinking the reason they require your account information at this point is so they know where to send your "winnings"...and not that you are about to be hammerbagged with a 60 dollar NON REFUNDABLE charge. Well actually it is refundable but you have to fight for it. YES you were a sucker for submitting account information to a SCAM FRAUD GAMBLING website...but they are slick. So now is the time to stand up and FIGHT...TELL YOUR BANK TO REVERSE THE CHARGES BECAUSE THEY ARE A SCAM !!. Print out all the reports you can find written against them and demand your bank to reverse the charges and then stay clear of scams like this in the future. Use a LEGITIMATE auction site such as Ebay, or just shop around at your local retailers for the best deal and support the economy, not give your hard earned money to scammers.
