This is an email send to Quibids: I would like to elaborate on the bidding we did last night. My relatives were visiting this past weekend. I showed them the Quibids site because I thought so much of the site. We originally tried my account but I had reached my limit therefore we set up an accounts for them. Using another credit card. We did nothing to try to deceive Quibids. I had a great time watching them bid on the Quibids website. I can tell you now I am very disappointed that Quibids did not try to reach me for an explanation prior to returning the items they legally won on Quibids. I know that the two of them will be very disappointed when I speak to them later this evening.

My relative does not have a credit card as he has fallen on some hard times. I was trying to help him out and show him a good time and take care of Christmas for his family as well.

I have just explained the circumstances to my attorney in Fort Worth and he did not have very positive things to say about Quibids if this is how the company attends to customers who are paying for a service. The least Quibids should have done was to call and ask us about the accounts prior to terminating the account set up for my relatives. My attorney called me back and told me he did a quick search on scams and Quibids is listed time and time again. I should have checked deeper into Quibids before spending money with you.

Quibids has returned a small portion of the money Emilio spent on the Auction representing the return of product won. Quibids has not returned the fees used to bid on the products which is considerably higher than the value of the products. We plan to file a fraud report with the credit card company and the AG office in both Texas and Oklahoma where Qui Bids LLC is based.

I am very disatisfied customer.

We have spoken to the company and sent several emails explaining the circumstances of opening the account for my relative.

IN RETROSPECT IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO PURCHASE THESE ITEMS ELSEWHERE THIS COMPANY HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IS ARROGANT.

Not Really Quibids Fault

#2Consumer Suggestion

Mon, January 25, 2010

I would first like to say that I am not an employee of Quibids LLC, rather a very satisfied customer of there's and would like to comment on your experience. It was nice that you were helping your family and trying to make their Christmas experience a memorable one. However, you can not blame this company for your lack of reading. It clearly states in the Terms and Conditions of their agreement that the "same Credit Card cannot be used on multiple accounts". As well, you cannot use the same address on multiple accounts. Since you failed to read this was not the fault of the company. They send you an email with this information when you sign up and as well, it is available on the website. If you were to give your lawyer this information, I could not see how even a rookie lawyer would not say that you did violate the Terms and Conditions and were possibly subject to your account being terminated, as it was. I do understand your plight in that if you emailed them explaining your situation, since they took back the item due to them thinking you were committing "Fraud", then you should get all the invested bids back and the price for the item. That maybe is where Quibids customer service and senior Management would have to take a look and make a decision to reimburse you.

I have had a good experience with customer service. I live in an apartment and I always send my stuff to my neighbor across the street to avoid possible theft of my packages. Before I won anything, I contacted customer service and explained that there was a different billing address and Credit Card number but that I would prefer to ship to my neighbor since he is home throughout the day. I mentioned that he has his own Quibid account and that the only information that we would be sharing would be the "Ship To" address and nothing else. The Customer service representative understood my issue and said that it was not a problem and I did not have any problems (nor did my neighbor) when they ship the items to me.

I would advise that if you continue to be a customer of there's, that in any situation where it could violate the terms and conditions, that you contact them via email or phone to avoid and problems. Good Luck.
