Yes, I was stupid enough to bid on Quibids auctions!  They are the biggest rip-off scam artists I've dealt with.

There is no protection or recourse against these schemers. Quibids is obviously not regulated by anyone and is therefore free to make any unsupported claims they wish without having to provide proof, which is what they've done to me.   When I investigated as to why they claimed I'd bid close to 500 times when I know I didnt bid that much, Quibids claimed, in an erroneous bidding history  that I placed bids on things I absolutely know I didn't bid on.

They showed me bidding on an Apple Mac, and I would never use one of those as I'm a long time Microsoft fan.  Ive tried Apple in the past, and just couldnt get into it.  They also showed me bidding on a large screen TV, and although I may be stupid for going into Quibids in the first place, I'm not stupid enough to believe I'll be the high bidder on a large screen TV, and I would never even begin bidding on one of them. They also claimed I used an automatic bidder, and I don't even have any idea what that is or how it works!

After they let you win a couple of little things at first to hook you in, you then begin to see patterns indicating that the auctions are rigged.  I'd get knocked out of the bidding right at the very last second, yet other bidders had no problems at all.  Quibids blamed it on my computer even though I have higher broadband speed than most.

Customer service inquiries were useless, as Quibids doesn't give a darn about your complaints and makes no bones about it.  They dont even make an attempt to address your complaint if you ask for your money back.  They simply tell you that someone else must have been bidding YOUR bid points in YOUR name. This makes absolutely no sense, and Quibids doesnt care whether it makes sense to you or not.

I was stupid and I know it, and I would like to prevent others from losing their money as I did.

I am incensed at their blatant arrogance and dishonesty, and I plan to post this wherever and whenever I can as often as I can.  Stay Away From Quibids! Any authority or agency attempting to investigate Quibids is free  to use any information available in my complaint, although I might add that they will unboubtedly receive nothing in return but lies and deceit as I did when I investigated. Their hands will be tied, and theyll not be able to resolve this because theyre are dealing with crooks, who as we know, do not play by the rules.

I feel that the only recourse I have at my disposal is to warn other people about Quibids.

I work for QuiBids as a customer support manager. I would like to reach out and provide a bit of information for you as well as provide some contact information so that we can assist you further through our customer support system directly.

First off, I want to re-assure you that QuiBids is not a scam, but rather a legitimate business that operates with a new and different e-commerce model. Because of this, there is occasionally confusion on how the auctions we offer on our website operate. I see that your main concern is that 1. You feel your account was accessed and used without your authorization and 2. QuiBids is not regulated or investigated independently.

When a QuiBids user creates an account, their information is private. The only person that has that information is the individual who created the account. Therefore, unless you were to provide the login information for your account to another person, there is no way for anyone to bid in your place. QuiBids employees do not have access to a customer's password and are not able to alter this information without consent from the user.

QuiBids recently passed an independent third-party audit of our integrity and internal controls. The following PDF file explains the audit in full detail: http://www.quibids.com/static/productimages/files/QuiBids_Grant%20Thornton-FINAL%20Report_2011.pdf

QuiBids is also a BBB accredited business and has been since September 22, 2010. We are very proud of our A- rating with the BBB. For more information regarding our BBB accreditation, please follow this link: http://www.bbb.org/oklahoma-city/business-reviews/penny-auctions/quibids-in-oklahoma-city-ok-90016706

I hope this helps provide some clarification! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact support@quibids.com. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with, and have a wonderful day!
