Quick Weight Loss Centers QWLC or the Q $99, lose 99 pounds. Children free with parent is a Major Lie! Houston / Sugar Land Texas
QWLC is running radio advertisements saying that for $99, you can lose up to 99 pounds. Children are free with a parent. Sounds great. I went to a nearby location with my two daughters to kick off summer with improved fitness and weightloss. The three of us each completed a health and weight loss goal form and got weighed. The counselor then told us that it would be more than $700 and would include first month of supplements. I told him that I didnt want all the supplements (pills, mostly), especially since my girls can't swallow pills like that. I asked what is included for $99. He said nothing, the program costs $700. He then mentioned that they occasionally run a friends and family special for about $360. I explained that we were interested in the weigh-ins, advice and protein snacks. He again said it was $700+.
I had previously done the program 12+ years ago and agree that the low carb/ high protein program works for me. The ripoff is that they are advertising the program for $99 and they have no services offered for that price. False advertising. $700+ is not $99.
Don't fall for this bait and switch. I found a low carb / high protein plan on the Internet. Drink water throughout the day, take omega-fatty acids/fish oils and track what you eat. Buy the protein snacks on-line or at big box stores locally. The FCC needs to come put a stop to the false advertising.
