I was directed to Quick Bucks by an internet seach engine. The company promised me that $300 would be deposited into my account within 24-48 hours.

I wrote three checks totalling $96 in anticipation of the advance from Quick Bucks being in my account within the 24-48 hrs. I began calling the company on a toll free number they gave me.

Upon talking to a CSR she advise me that it takes their underwriters 2-5 business days to make a decision. I told her the initial ad said 24-48 hrs.

I called back a day later, and was told by Andrew that the money would be in my account that Friday, (7 days from my application).

I called the following Monday to ask why the money still hadn't been deposited, and that when I received an email stating that my advance had been denied. The emailed stated 15 possible reasons. None made any sense.

Upon calling and demanding I speak with a manager, I was told that I was denied because I didn't have direct deposit.

What really was disturbing was this company was attempted to take $24.95 from my account. It was unsuccessful (insufficient funds) but my account was charged the $30 NSF fee. In all my account end up $209 in the red because of that and the other checks i'd written.

I am planning on reporting this incident to my local BBB and contacting my state's Attorney General's Office.

Believe when I say that was the first and last time I will apply for a cash advance loan.
