Complaint Review: Quicken Loans

 I was assigned a email by our email team in which I had to respond to the clients question in the email. The email I was assigned was out of my realm so I could not handle the email. I fowarded the email to the appropriate team with clients name contact info and why they were emailing. In return the team emailed me back a while later but do to the overwhelming phone calls being received I missed the email that was sent to me by the team mate which she was asking for the loan number. My team leader Chris Novak brought it to my attention about not responding to the team member and I advised him it was a mistake and that I missed it but it wouldn't happen again. The following day the team member that was emailed emailed me back and stated that she contacted the Client and everything was fine , I apologized for missing her email and not responding it was a mistake, she told me it was fine and not to worry about it. I told my team leader about the email in which he replied i saw it it's okay and nothing else came of the matter. On Friday 11/29/15 I arrived to work a hour early at 9 am my shift started at 10 I punched in did some research for some clients and would follow up with them during the day at 10 am I logged in to the phone system and began to take calls . I was fired for not replying to a teammates email which I admittingly missed and apologized for I was assured that it was okay and for clocking in a hour earlier but not taking calls but was simply doing research for clients that did not require me to use the phone until my 10 o'clock start time. I didn't feel I had to work for free while doing the research is why I clocked in. When I was fired I told them this wasn't fair and all they said did I have any further questions...
