Complaint Review: Quicken Loans

Quicken Loans Promised not to charge account - Did and Ripped me off $500.00 - Now no one there knows anything about it - Don't make the same mistake Livonia Michigan

Quicken loans is refusing to refund a " Good Faith " $500.00 that was required when applying for a loan. The Loan person stated that if a loan is granted and if we take another loan from another company that this $500.00 would be charged to our charge card - We were looking for a new home - no new home was found, and we were going to continue however, I noticed that this was charged to the charge card- I contacted Quicken loan to have it removed and they refused and stated that if a loan is aquired in the future that it will be credited -- I told them NO I want it credited now - This loan person said it was the credit departments falt and they do not know how to do that - I now am having the charge card company trying to get the money back- Don't make the same mistake- Do not use Quicken

I will update this report to tell everyone if I am refunded the $500.00 when this happens.

Thank you Ron and thank you Peter for actualy updating. Most of the people that complaine never update and let us know that Quicken typicaly resolves any issues.

working with Quicken and the credit card company - Quicken claaed and agreed no to charge this amount to the charge card - thank you Quicken and credit card company. I will now wait for the credit to the account --

I have gone to Quicken Loans twice for a home refinance. The first time I did not go through with the transaction, it took them about three weeks to credit my credit card back. The second time I used them everything was great. Loan was closed and monies received with in 2 weeks. Nothing but good to say about Quicken Loans
