Complaint Review: Quicker Loan And Trust

They are at it again. Quicker Loan and Trust contacted me stating that I had been approved for an $8000 loan. I have never heard of this company and did not apply for this loan. They stated that all I had to do was send them $1487.20 for insurance in case I defaulted on the loan.

This is a scam. In case anyone is contacted, please do not send them any money. Advance fee loans are illegal in the US and Canada. However, they state that this is not an advance fee just a payment for insurance. Please do not believe this. Quicker Loan and Trust is out of Toronto, Canada (phone number on my caller id had a 416 area code). Unfortunately, when one company closes down another is ready to take their place.

Please report these companies to Phonebusters. They are a lot faster in shutting down these companies than US authorities.
