This company is located here in Frisco Texas. I believe others have had a bad time with them too, but now it has happended to me, but never again. We took our car in there on June 20th 2003 and proceeded to get the oil changed. Never had we taken it there before, but Walmart was three a hour wait. They asked my husband at first what type of oil and he said 10W30. Then once again outside they asked again and he said 10W30.

They started filling the oil and came in to upsale other things and proceeded to tell my husband that our Inspection was illegal because it was a two year one from the dealership. "Take it up with them" My husband said that was not what they were asked to look at first of all. I believe all new cars get a two year sticker. Anyhow the next day I noticed my reciept and my car said 5W30.

So I called and asked to speak with the Lube Manager Keith I believe. He told me for that car type 5W30 was the correct oil. Well, that was not what I asked for sir I said. The dealership has never said anything about 5W30? My husband said he did not want them dong it if they can't get it right. I mean a car is an expensive thing to mess up with.

So we asked for our money back and we would take it somewhere else. They said they could not give the money back because services were done correctly. They were yelling at us and telling us that they would not do anything of the sort. I mean you pay alot more there for an oil change and they did not perform services correctly and they will not give your money back.

I know walmart would have refunded us and that is were my business will go form now on. And I will make everyone known of the customer service from the lube manager and the lube center manager as I can. I am also writing Texaco Havoline and let them know how this company carries their name too.

People like you would do businesses all over the place a favor if you just stay put at Walmart! Always trying to get something for nothing. humph! It is funny to me how you expect getting your money back to totally repair the situation here. Getting your money back will not get the 10W30 oil out of your car. But you don't seem to be as concerned with the oil as you are about getting a refund.

Get over it! The service was performed and therefore you must pay for it! Go back to Walmart where you belong!

QuickWash Was Correct!

You obviously know nothing about oil. And, as the previous rebuttel suggests, you didn't even bother reading your vehicle manual before complaining to QuickWash.

Most manufacturers recommend SAE 5W-30 over SAE 10W-30 because of the wider temperature range that it can handle.

You caused a stink for absolutely no reason. Shame on YOU for being so uninformed and foolish!

Better check your owners manual, 5W30 may be correct.

You should check your owners manual because some of the new vehicles call for 5W30 oil. You'll be voiding your warranty if your using 10W30.
