Quinn Satkowski Chargeback Scammer Shelton, Connecticut
Quinn Satkowski called me asking to have me build him an auto dialer so that he could call his clients. For those of you in the business, you know how the rest of this goes: I build out the dialer, then he tells me what he really wants to do is run a "push 1" campaign (that's where you pick up your phone and some voice says "want a new credit card? Press 1 now" and then you get connected to an agent if you're dumb enough to press 1). Great. So I load up his custom audio file and configure his campaign. When he starts his dial he realizes that he'll need to dial against a zillion channels before he gets someone to press one. When he figures out that this is going to cost him big bucks, he abandons the dial.
Here's where Quinn takes it one step too far: He then waits a month and charges back my labor for his dialer telling PayPal I never did the work. Classy move. Then he dodges a call from me asking him to explain.
If that wasn't bad enough, he then has some random guy call me back to yell at me and sociopathically rationalize stealing from me (while Quinn is on the line) because he doesn't have the stones to do it himself. This guy who called himself "Kevin" (518-378-1771) even tries to extort more labor out of me "because my PayPal reputation is on the line here". He keeps saying that the dialer is an "inferior product". Okay. Whatever makes you feel better about stealing, I guess.
In the first five seconds of the call this Kevin guy admits I did the work with a quick "Well no, but it's an inferior product..." Too bad PayPal only refunds for products not delivered, not for buyer's remorse when you decide that your unprofitable push 1 insurance scheme isn't the million dollar idea you originally thought it was.
You can listen to that call here: http://5gigahertz.com/Skype-20120409-1119.mp3
Even though this keeps happening a few times a year, you can still hear the surprise in my voice.
I imagine I'm going to lose this PayPal dispute. Anyone in business knows that you can practically send PayPal a picture of the guy wearing the thing as a hat and they'll still side with the buyer. However, that doesn't mean that I have to go away quietly. Do no do business with this Quinn Satkowski, unless you too want to be treated like this. It's obvious this is just another unscrupulous person trying to fool himself every unethical decision he makes is some else's fault.

The below response was advised by my attorney and is to the post written by Burk Morrison from 5 Gigahertz.
Burk Morrison was hired to build a dialer and was given specifications. Mr. Morrison advised me to order the parts off his website and that he would take care of "everything else" Burk charged me $400 for the "software services" and $600 for the parts for the machine. Burk was asked repeatedly before payment if the machine would be as powerful as I requested and I was
assured repeatedly it would be. Burk demanded payment upfront for everything and as a trusting person he was paid in advance.
I became very fed up with Burk After WASTING TWO WEEKS of going back and forth with Burk because the machine would not work liked it was supposed to. Burk then said the only way for it to work the right way was to buy 10 machines from him which was INSANE AND UNBELIEVABLE. I then asked Burk for a refund on the services as we could not return the parts for the machine. Burk Morrison then said that we could not get as refund at all of any kind. I then advised him PAYPAL would look into this transaction and see if he or his company was at fault.
At this point Burk Morrison turned on his computer machine in las vegas at his company and programmed it to dial my phone and business associates phone repeatedly every five minutes. The calls started at 9am eastern time and continued until 9pm each day for two days and in the process attorneys and local and state police departments were contacted. Burk then advised us he would only stop the calls if we agreed to end the Paypal dispute and let him keep the money. I had no choice to let him keep the money and we went our separate ways.
In closing I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND 5GIGAHERTZ LLC OR BURK MORRISON who are based out of Las Vegas Nevada. DO NOT GIVE HIM MONEY UP FRONT FOR A JOB OR FOR PARTS HE SELLS. STAY AWAY FROM HIM AS THERE ARE MANY OTHER REPUTABLE FIRMS TO DEAL WITH.
HOPEFULLY BURK LEARNS YOU NEED TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND BE UPFRONT AND HONEST WITH THEM. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
