I am amazed at how a company the size of qwest can be so mis ran. My bills ARE NEVER correct, I have to call in and "negotiate" my bill with a "credit rep" every month. I have been misbilled up to $346.

This isn't a once in a while thing, it is literally EVERY month. I have roaming charges ALL THE TIME because the coverage in the mpls/stpaul metro area is very poor, when I complain of this they tell me to turn off roam capabilities, if I do this I do not have full service(i.e. I'll miss calls, won't be able to dial).

I should be able to call ANYWHERE in my call area and not be charged roaming fees. I have had the same phone for almost a year, when I bought it it was the best they offered, I would now like a more current phone but, low and behold, the best phone they offer now is still the same one I have wich, by the way, has had to be replaced 4 times over the last year.

I have called and asked when they are getting new phones only to be told that the one I have is the most current on the market(what a bunch of B.S.)I have tried to contact them via their website(they have some sort of customer complaint resolution deal on their website) and it actually registers your complaint and sends you back an email saying someone will contact you very soon.

I have done this three times now and have gotten NO RESPONSE. NICE. Is it any wonder that a company ran like this is facing bankruptcy proceedings? Who the hell is in charge there? I have never seen, or for that matter even imagined a company could be ran like this one(and I have been with them for 5 yrs now, I know, my own fault, but I don't want to change my cell #, it is also a business phone) Is nobody there in upper mgmnt. accountable?

Where did these people go to school? Who taught them the concepts of running a business? What the hell goes on in that company on a day to day basis?

No cell company offers the "Blanket Coverage" you speak of

To answer your question as a former employee of Wireless Repair... No cell company offers the "Blanket Coverage" you speak of or are wanting. Coverage depends on your distance to the wireless tower and interference.

Qwest guarantees a 1 mile radius to that tower for you to get service otherwise 'Roaming which for everyone doesnt mean you have to be outside your home area, it means you are using the other companies network'

Qwest also gives you fifteen days to try the service out, see if you want to keep it and if it doesn't work for you. Sorry that you were too dim to try it out and return it if it didn't work. If you want 'free roaming' go to Alltell and pay out the a*s per month for it! also why are you running a business off a device which is required to accept any and all interference (FCC mandated)?
