We were reconciling our accounts today and a charge appeared for $59.78. Wondering what it was my wife called the company, to see what this was (I'm surprised the 800 number appeard on the statement). Turns out we are just like the rest of the complaints. They say a telemarketer called us and we agreed to this long-distance program. We ALWAYS hang up on telemarketers and don't even use long distance. We have no need for it. Also we never give our credit card info out over the phone, especially to a telemarketer.

Anyway they said they will reimburse the first month, but if they have a "recorded" authorization, they will continue to charge us. Too bad for them that I filed the following:

1. Called the FBI fraud department.
2. Called the Public Utility Commission in PA to file a complaint.
3. Called and filed a complaint with the FCC.
4. Called and filed a complaint with the Santa Barbara BBB.

This company needs to be put out of business. They are a fraud and total rip-off. There is no way anyone in my household would have authorized this. They say the contacted us in Sept. 2002. Why so long till a charge shows? I also ran a D&B report on this company -nothing. On the one address posted by another rip off complaint, it was an infomercial company by the name of Tony Hoffman Production, Inc. located at 1290 Rancho Conjo Blvd. Newbury Park, CA 91320. Sounds like a connection.
