Complaint Review: R and R painting

I Received an estimate to paint the entire interior of my house and front section of exterior for $3200 with one coat of Benjamin Moore paint  and Raj did not honor the estimate given.

When the company started painting they would not honor estimate which included 4 small bedrooms in price. On top of that insult I gave Raj a sample of the paint to match and he painted my walls 2 shades darker than than we agreed upon nor did the paint for the front of the house match the color of the house.(see photo)

His defense is my wife said it was OK ...Bull... I made the contract and gave him the sample not my wife. Once the work was started I had to stop him and go to small claims court which I insisted he file suite for non payment of his services.

I tried to reason with Raj when he would not include the bedrooms as we agreed but he was arrogant and hostile. In addition he left a mess in my upstairs loft and did not paint the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom per estimate.

I received 2 other estimates from other painters and had the work done with the one I chose with the 4 bedrooms for the same $3200 and was satisfied with the work.

Any one doing business with this companymake sure you get every room of estimate on paper and color samples before the work is started. This young man is only in business a year and a half in the US and has a lot to learn about customer satisfaction.
