R&B Finance in Dallas Tx are theives, scam artists, liars, and down right dirty!

I had a vehicle that I bought from these shady people in August of 2015.  I paid $700 down and had three defered payments to pay before the monthly amount went down.  I switched jobs so I was a week behind on my note which I called & spoke with the lady in the main office about. She told me that the following saturday after I was paid would be fine to pay the balance of the payments owed and the payment that would be due that day.  This was on a tuesday and I had spoke to her a week prior as well.  I was guaranteed that everything was ok and a note would be put on the account to seal it.  Well, I pull up at my house with my fiance and kids Wednesday night - go inside for a second before we got our stuff from the day out of the car.  We hear a loud truck drive by super slow and then speed by a few minutes later.  I went outside to look because we live way out in the country and our car was gone with all of our stuff in it including my fiances purse.

So the following day which was Thursday we got a ride all the way to Dallas, which is nearly 1 hr & 45 minutes from our house.  I was LIED to.  The same lady I had spoke to on the phone said, "Oh well there's nothing I can do unless you pay $8000 today."  Seriously when I had worked out to get the week I was behind caught up.  1 week not 1 Month!!!  She was insistant and rude that I had to sign a waiver saying I already received my belongings from the car before we could go to the secondary car lot to get our things.  My fiance was mad and told her no we wouldn't sign that until we actually received our belongings in case things were missing because a purse and other valuables were in the vehicle.  She was very rude and said well then you aren't getting your SH*T back then are you and proceeded to turn her back on us and not answer us.  Even the salesman in the lobby was appauled by the behavoir and the way we were treated.  He said it was unfair and unjust and he hates when this stuff occurs because he doesn't work that way.  So, my fiance went and fetched her father from his vehicle to come handle it because he knows Texas laws very well.  By law they are responsible for our belongings in the car.  R&B was saying that they aren't and legaly don't have to give them back which in fact they do because that is stealing personal property.

So, after that dilema we had to sign it to get my fiances purse.  We drive to the other lot to retrieve our stuff.  We open the doors to find the car ransacked.  The stuff on the dash was strewn everywhere.  My fiance's purse as in the floorboard of the front seat when she left it in there...it was in the back seat on the seat dumped over and wallet strewn about.   We had $200 worth of .22 ammo in the console - COMPLETELY GONE!!!  My fiance has severe ulcers and anxiety and her Rx meds were in the console in case she ever needed them and those were gone.  Those meds were resellable on the street and her insurance wont cover stolen meds.  We approached Clarence the salesman at the other lot about the stolen property and he just shut down.  Then he called the big lot to talk to the manager to tell her what was up.  He told her that the car was in the yard and then the other boy that worked there moved it to the bay.  So people were in our car and had access to our stuff.

My soon to be father in law went back to the big lot where he tried to speak to the manager and she was very rude and ugly saying they weren't responsible for our stuff and wouldn't give him any information on who towed it even though it wasn't towed.  It was driven out of my car port...it was an inside employee that did the repo.

DO NOT do business with these people they will take your money and RIP you off & STEAL from you on top of all that!!!!!!!

The dealer was dishonest not the customer. I suggest that everything should be in writting. I work for a very honest company and I think all car lots should be regulated. This happens to often. The car I am sure was a high mile over priced car. I was planning to buy a car from them but now HELL NO.

>...so I was a week behind on my note...

So you readily admit that you didn't adhere to the terms of the contract that you signed, that you agreed to, that you promised to per your signature. Yes? Yes.

> I was LIED to.

I'm sure you were. But hey, YOU started it by failing to keep to the contract. What did you expect?

The only rip-off here is you. Want to whine about it? Bring it to Facebook. It doesn't belong on this site.

Right from the start you were late in payments!  You can make up any excuse you want but it is FACT.

No thievery and no scam here.  Just another case of a serial deadbeat continuing in their ways and then coming here to cry and wail about how its all their fault.

Let me save you the effort...don't bother writing back claiming I must work for them...because I don't!

Oh yes, enjoy walking and the bus!
