R&J Enterprises promise sign on pay you'll never see. Akron Ohio
Around June or July of 2008 I,as well as 19 others were led into believing they would be getting a real job with a cleaning company. Their newspaper ad stated they were hiring carpet cleaners with a $1000.00 sign on bonus making $500.00 a week, never seen a sent.
At the time they were up Medina,Oh. All of the misled ones were told the company was expanding to eastern Ohio and Pennsylvania and needed help at their new locations.
After 3 days of training the so called "employees" were given, what they call machine, to take home and show family, friends or anyone they wanted. All were asked to get a list of at least 12 people by the end the week to demonstrate this to with the help of a supervisor. What no one was told was they would have to put a security deposit down on the unit they had in there possesion, and if they just quit without returning it that Nichole Price or someone else from that office would hunt us down and beat us up for it.
People were threatened by Nichole several times, being told to shut up and do as told or she would punch, slap or beat them.
When I left there may have been 5 out of a group of 20 left. After being told the security deposit ($1000.00) was needed, and any extras we needed (carpet shampoo, belt, bag, etc.) had to pay for without reimbursement it left them with one. No one ever saw there supposed sign on bonus.
