Complaint Review: R.L.A.

I had a young man come to my door this morning selling magazines to win a school trip. Like the others have said, he was fast talking and very persistant. He asked me to pick out 2 that I liked....not knowing how much they cost. When I told him I couldn't afford it, he told me to just pick out one. I ordered the "Turtle" at $43. Still pretty steep if you ask me. So, I wrote a check and he was off.

I immediately got on the internet and looked up the company. I found all these reports. What I thought was strange was the kid who came to my door had the same name as the kid who came to another victims home in Tennesse. I live in Missouri. His name was Thomas Greenwald. After reading that, I called my bank and put a stop payment on my check. So, they will get no money from me. I'm still out the "stop payment fee", but that's fine.

So mine is just a warning: DO NOT ORDER MAGAZINES FROM KIDS THAT COME TO YOUR DOOR.
