R.L.Stevens Randy Stevens Www.interviewing.com www.interviewing.com #1Scam and Con-Artist around! BEWARE!!! Columbus, Ohio
I would have to agree with the individual from Cleveland, Ohio and also from GrovePort, Ohio. My experience with RL Stevens is simple - they hire con artist who sweet talk you into spending $$$$ and they sit back and do nothing for you. I went there March 2009 after seening their ad in the ALIVE! paper. They said they know how to help job seekers get a job.
I met with a guy named Ken who told me with my managerial background I could have a job within 3-4 months - no problem. It's the end of August and no interviews or jobs. The reasons are outlined below:
I followed their "special website" of potential job leads. No luck.
I sent my resume to several businesses - it was the honest HR person at Nationwide who told me my resume was "weak" and needed to be tuned for the job. When I told him I paid $5500 at RL Stevens, he laughed and said it was the worst resume he had seen in a long time.
RL Stevens has such a high rate of turnovers of the con-artist I could not go back to the one who created my resume because he is not there and my "new counselor" wanted $1000 to re-do what should have been done in the beginning.
Moral? Get books on resume writing - I did and I have created a new resume(s). Also, go to Job Fairs and mingle with potential employees (I was discouraged to do this at RL Stevens). Third, file a complaint with the Attorney General Office. I am!
