Racetrack Gas Station, Junniper Card Service, Barclay Card Service all use the same tactic of claiming a payment arrives late, then charging from $29 to $40 as a service charge, plus adding on extravagant interest charges for as little as a single day of "late payment".

In this recent case (it's happened before but I was able to get it reversed in speaking with a USA located customer service rep) my call was shunted to the phillipines where I was greeted wtih a voice whose accent was so pronounced that I could not understand more than every third word and who had no comprehension of what "Certified Mail' or Sunday not being a business day in America.

After trying with 3 different "account consultants" or what ever the hell they call themselves, and hearing exactly the same speech obviously read from a "cue card" I hung up and decided to try to Google the company and find a USA office I could reach by phone. NO WHERE on their billings or web sites can you get a number for a USA contact.

Google led me to Rip Off Report...and I found the number there, not on official company web sites or correspondance. It's ALL designed to make it next to impossible for anyone to get thru to somone who can understand english, know our customs and proceedures, and lastly have an interest in keeping our business.

the only place I could find a number in the USA was in a similar rip off report on your site which led me to call the USA number listed in it. (302-255-8000).

I called that number , and lo and behold , the perfectly comprehensible voice at the other end (located in Delaware USA) understood certified mail, took the number from my receipt.......and reversed the charges.

Point is, does anyone want to do business with a company that allows and uses practices like this?

BUY AMERICAN!

Thats the only way to go from now on.
