Complaint Review: Rachael Rivera

I saw a ad on craiglist that read someone was renting out a one bedroom for $855.00 so I saw the offer and sent a message. I sent her the message that i was interested and she sent me emails back and forth saying that she wants to rent her place out to me and she tells me a long story about why she is rentng her place and shows me the pictures of the place.

I thought the pictures looked suspicious but i didnt think to much about it. Then she exchange her phone number which i found that she was using an phone app and the pictures she got from different sources from the internet which enticed me.

Me and her agreed that if i send $855 she would send me the keys and documents which i did so i sent it to her and she started to lie and say she does not have my money when she did because i directed deoposit my money to her. Then she lied and said that she was going to give me my money back and never did after i refused to send her my whole deposit which she was mad because i did not do.

She is a true scam artist who lies about apartments just to take your money. its been almost a couple of days and now i cant get in touch with her at all but i do have all the emails we sent to each other and a bank account where the money was sent to. i want to bring justice to this crime and hopefully get my deposit back.
