Complaint Review: Rad Industries

I purchased a trailer (over the phone with Mitch Chance, owner) from RAD Industries in early June of 2009, with a expected delivery date of 9/1/09. I contacted Mitch in late August of 2009 to check on the status of my order. I was advised by Mitch that the supplier had discontinued manufacturing unknown to him and my order would be delayed, the expectation was set that late November or December I should expect delivery.

At this time August 6, 2009 is when Mitch process the purchase amount. I contacted Mitch in November, I was advised he had specification issues with the new manufacturer and a delay of late January or February was established by Mitch as to delivery. In January I contacted Mitch and was advised that (5) trailers were to be coming out of production and I was first in line to receive one. I contacted Mitch on February 15, 2010 regarding my order. Mitch expressed once again, (5) trailers were coming from the manufacturer any day and I was first to have my order fullfilled and shipment should be in the next couple of weeks.

I attempted to contract Mitch on March 15th and approximately 9 times since March 15th and have had no return calls from Mitch. I have been dealing with just Mitch and the number he provided is his cell. The number to RAD Industries has never generated a call back to date. Mitch also owns OzarkRacewayPark, by which I left one message in late March for Mitch at. Mitch has yet to initiate any contact to me on the status of my order throughout the 11 months. The only request I have made to Mitch, is he be available to communicate in order to keep me abreast of the situation and circumstances. I left a message on Mitch's cell phone on April 7, 2010 and requested he cancel my order and provide a full refund of my money and that I would be filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office. I have also submitted a complaint to the BBB office in Sprinfield recenty.

I have paid for a Diamond Back motorcycle trailer in full, received the title and no product has been received as of the date of this submission. It has been 15 months since I placed the order. I have had contact with Mitch on June 15th of 2010, and he only stated he would be need to call me back. He stated he had returned to managing the trailer business and his wife and son had nearly lost the business do to neglect. I have attempted to reach anyone from Rad Industries every two weeks since February 15th 2010 with no success.
