My refridgerator was not working properly and I called Radco for a service check. They arrived the following day and visually inspected the refrigerator by opening the doors and peering inside. From this inspection they concluded that there was ice inside a vent blocking the air flow. They poked a screw driver between the vent fins and stated that all was well. The service call invoice was for $180 which was immediately paid.

I waited over a weekend for the corrective action that Radco initiated to have a positive affect on the operation of the refrigerator, but the performance did not change. I called the office of Radco and informed them that their repair didn't work and to please return to inspect the unit again. They stated they would come back, but it would cost $180, I protested and was told the unit was fine and they would not return unless they were paid. I asked for a specific diagnosis of the problem and the gentleman hung up on me, I called back and asked to speak to the owner and was told I was talking to one of the owners and was promply hung up on. My experience is further evidence that RADCO is not a company that one can expect honesty from and further evidence that a quick internet check would have saved me time, headache, money and, especially, the spouse's "I told you so". Please be aware of the large number of complaints against the company and the arrest of the owner on theft charges.
