I paid $24.99 for radio-code.com to supply me with a radio unlock code for my radio. Their website claims that you'll have the code within 24 hours--or they insidiously ask you to pay more for a faster response... it doesn't matter what you pay, they don't provide any response. Requests for arbritration with PayPal didn't help, either, since the scam is "virtual" and doesn't fall under PayPal's protection scheme... what a scam!
No answer to my many emails, and the company shows a WHOIS in Ashburn, Va... but who knows where they really are... I was finally able to get the unlock code by using a service called:
