I payed A $100.00 for a DVD player made by "GO VIDEO". I had it for around 5 months and only watched about 10 movies on it.One day it would not read the disc anymore. I went back to Radio Shack and was told I only had a 90 day warrenty.

OK I'm **cked, But the fat lowlife behind the counter was about as smart as pig s**t(MANAGER). I never met such a rude slob in my life."NOTHIN I COULD DO" I been going to RS for 20yrs. I cut my credit card & will never go back!

After reading your problem, it sounds like you're strictly at fault. I don't want to come off as an a*s, but I'm sure you were offered a warranty on that DVD player. 5 months is a long time, and the 90 day warranty on Radio Shack merchandise is fairly common. This complaint only stems from your own unwillingness to purchase a 12 dollar service plan...Live and learn

What, we should warrenty it for life?

I understand your frustration. You had a product go bad on you, but do not hold The Shack at fault.

How long should they warrenty such a product. When does the product actually become your responsibility? 5 months is a long time.

In 5 months, kids or probably even people like you...stick things like Peanut Butter sandwiches in VCRs.

Again, when does the product actually become yours?

Use your head, and be realistic.
