Bought a computer and surge protector from
approx. $1000. , well if you read the fine print
on the surge protector it will not or do they
warranty any damage caused by power surge. the
computer is compaq presario 7922. after having
to replace the hardrive 3 times, the repair
teck. at the radioshack repair center said they
knew that it was a problem system and if i had
paid extra for the extended warranty after the
third repair they normally replaced the unit.
but now i have a unit that now all of sudden
needs a motherboard that i can't get. and they
are so sorry, i should have bought extended
warranted.what a ripoff!
