I recently stayed at this hotel on the 8th of December, 2006, on my way to board my cruise ship for my vacation. I booked my room using Priceline. I bid a price and that price was accepted by the Radisson. When I checked into my room, I was required to sign a sheet of paper that stated I was subject to a $10.00 service fee, and my credit card was charged this $10.00 upon check out.

This practice is very unethical and similar to the illegal bait and switch tactic using by early store owners. A person should not be promised a room for a pre-negotiated rate then later be required to pay more by having a service fee added to the bill. If a person prepays for a room, that should be considered a binding contract.
