Radleaf defrauded my company out of funds submitted in good faith they would deliver a website as projected.

" Horrible experience with this freelancer after giving them a 50% payment they stopped making progress They bid 3 days here it over a week later and my time has been wasted. They intentionally caused a error then tried to charge us a additional $225 to fix it. We filed a dispute and they refused to refund our money and said they could care less. We hired someone else they fixed the issue in 10 mins.

We paid them $77.50 50% initial payment which they refused to refund. 

This company needs to be held accountable for their actions, unlike offshore freelancers, since he is in the US he can and should be held accountable.

 

We won the dispute and had the remainder of the funds returned to us but freelancer could not return the I tail downpayment as Ty canton already withdrew it. They found the dispute in our favor and stated that unfortunately they could not return the deposit as it had been withdrawn and that it would be unlikely we would ever recoup our loss. Unless radleaf earned more money on the site which they could then seize. But instead radleaf created a second account bypassing those measures. I have notified freelancer.com of radleafs second account. Check out his accounts there he has already defrauded another person and has another bad review. 

Heres a few excerpts from the chat los on the freelancer site, shows just how little they care about their customers.

(FROM ME)I have already filed with freelancer staff and am pursuing a full refund, in addition it was a 10 min fix and as simple as removing the file you inserted in the theme directory, we are presuming you intentionally did so in a attempt to extort additional funds from us to fix it. That kind of behavior will not be tolerated, in addition you originally bid 3 days and failed to deliver accordingly, we were more than patient with you and you just wasted out time. Once we paid you 50% out of good faith all work stopped the file dates show what was done this is why in general we do not pay until work has been completed I gave you the benefit of doubt and once again it did not pay to do so. Good luck with such bad business ethics and extortion tactics, I was not born yesterday.

We filed a complaint with the BBB and they failed to help

They closed the complaint stating "BBB found business made good faith effort to resolve complaint but customer not satisfied with business response (1 complaint)" How did the company make a good faith effort? really?

Two Major Website Removed Your Issue:

 

    You complained about our company with Freelancer and they investigated the issue and awarded me the money because you can not change requirements in the middle of the project without changing the price. In doing so

-THEY REMOVED YOUR COMPLAINT FROM THE WEBSITE BECAUSE YOU WERE AT FAULT

You then proceeded to BBB and they contacted my company and we gave the documents from Freelancer showing that you tried to change the requirements of the project without adjusting the price. In doing so once again,

-THEY REMOVED YOUR COMPLAINT FROM THE WEBSITE BECAUSE YOU WERE AT FAULT

So two major website found you to be at fault and now you are here at this cheap website that somehow allows you to write this. With the information that I have we should sue you for this. But it's to small of an issue. We'll rebutall your issue on every website you go. Have a good day :-)
