Complaint Review: Rainbow Resurfacing

The tub resurfacing job Rainbow did for me in Nov 08 is absolutely horrid and unacceptable! In layman's terms: a totally botched job that any self-respecting worker would be embarrassed to call his own, and that any customer-oriented businessman would want to rectify immediately!

The refinished surface of the tub and surround are glassy smooth in only a few small areas. Most of the surface is blotchy and rough like sandpaper! Not the surface you'd want to brush your naked & wet skin up against!

They masked the walls, but somehow managed to get white over spray on my tan walls! I had to repaint the walls because of these guys.

After they left, I noticed other porcelain surfaces in my bath (vanity top, toilet top, etc) which had previously been glassy smooth, felt gritty like fine sand paper. Did they allow top coat fog to settle on these surfaces? Don't they know how to vent the work area?

I also paid them to re-grout the tiled shower floor, since some grout was missing. It doesn't look to me that they completed the re-grout job, but they did cash the check!

I called the technician (Shannon) and owner (David), and left numerous messages that the job was unacceptable, and that I can not even think about using them on future jobs unless they make me happy on this job by re-doing it.

To date, I have not received any satisfaction. David has not even come over to see the botched job, or had a conversation with me about it!

What's their 5-yr warranty good for, if they won't even answer my complaint on a botched original job? I can not recommend Rainbow Resurfacing due to horrid workmanship and non-communication wth dissatisfied customer.
