Ralph Couch Drywall Ralph Couch Construction Scammer, Fraud, Con Artist, Crappy Workman Villa Rica, Georgia
I hired a Gnereral Contractor to remodel my home. He had an individual working for him named Michael Andrew Jackson of Villa Rica Ga. Michael referred Ralph and Jackie Couch of Ralph Couch Drywall to give an estimate for hanging and finishing all new drywall throughout the residence.
Ralph Couch low balled the job in order to get the work. He brought in a Mexican crew to hang the sheetrock then he himself came in to finish the work, "stating since he low balled it so much he had to come out of retirement and do the work himself". This included mud, sanding and stippling the ceiling.
He did an aweful job. Then demanded payment for a job unfinished and shoddily done. When I questioned the work and commented that the work was terrible and unfinished, I was told to "shove it" and he walked off the job.
Exactly 60 days later without any contact whatsoever he put an illegal lien on my home. In researching him, I found that he and his family have a history of doing this and taking people's property.
Has anyone out there had dealings with any of the companies listed above? If so I would be very interested in talking with anyone who may be interested in a class action against these guys. I have the attorney and I am suing them for slander and deformation and have room for more people in the case
Thieves, scammers, ripoffs and Fraud
There are a while nest of these people operating in Villa Rica Ga. Sheetrock, tile, general workman etc and the police cannot tie them together without more to go on.

My opinion of these individuals still stands as to their work ethics but the other issues with poor workmanship has been resolved by another contractor. I will say that to each is own. If you choose to use this contractor it is by your choice and not by anything you read or hear pertaining to them.
My experience may have been a one shot deal but it was my experience. I will not recommend them to anyone and I will not offer opinions to anyone unless asked.
All I can say is good luck to anyone hiring a general contractor in the future. Do not trust your general contractor to complete the work or hire reliable workers. Before beginning any job, investigate your GC, as he is the person that will provide the labor for the jobs performed and in the end he is the person responsible for every aspect of the job he is hired to do. Not his subs.
