Hi Everyone,

I attended BEERFEST in Edmonton two weeks ago, and entered a prize for a vacation to the bahamas. I won the vacation today, and spoke with this man on the phone named Victor from this call center.

The trip sounds wonderful, but please do not be confused like I was. Any trip that you need to hand over $598 for is probably a scam. If it had not been for my colleagues who googled the trip as I was on the phone, I would have been out this money.

It definitely sounds too good to be true, and is appearing at places that seem legitimate. I had to pay to attend BEERFEST, and legitimately entered for a vacation, so PLEASE think before you give over your credit card information.

It's Not a Scam

It isn't a scam. It is just a cut rate trip to Florida (you pay your way to Florida) with substandard 2 star hotels, a cut rate cruise line, several timeshare presentations, and a price that you could do better on if you booked it yourself. If you fill out those "Free" trip coupons at shows, malls, etc. you will at the least give your name, address, and email address to people who sell it to mailing lists and you can guarantee that your junk mail and spam will increase. I ignore them all although most everybody is a "winner". I'm glad you checked it out before you paid anything. ROR is full of unhappy "winners" who play Hell getting their money back.
